Began as lampworker at Perthshire Paperweights (1975-1979), then worked with John Deacons as his lampworker/designer until J Glass closed (1983). Moved to Caithness Glass, where he was their senior lampworker/designer until the company's 'restructuring' in 2008. Has exhibited unique paperweights (usually made with Harry McKay) at the annual Scottish Glass Society exhibitions, & now occasionally produces one-offs & very small series of limited editions.
