Parcelforce 48
(UK Zone 1 only - rates effective from 19th January 2009)
The prices quoted below are for the ParcelForce 48 service, and for UK Zone 1 only. This service guarantees delivery within 48 hours of despatch, and provides a tracking system to monitor the progress of parcels. There are other, faster services, but they are considerably more expensive. ParcelForce WorldWide will deliver to other countries, and prices are available from the ParcelForce website
Note: UK Zone 1 consists of England, Wales and Scotland (excluding the Highlands & Islands)

N.B. When sent by ParcelForce 48, multiple parcel consignments to a single address are charged by the total weight of the consignment (with no consignment weight limit), rather than as individual parcels. Saturday delivery is available for parcels sent on a Thursday

Compensation
Regrettably, Parcelforce do not offer compensation for damage in transit of items made of either glass or ceramics, but we package everything very carefully to minimise the risk. ParcelForce 48 includes cover against loss in transit of up to £150 for the normal rate. Increased cover can be obtained, as laid out in the table below:
