Before we started dealing in glass, we had for many years worked for British Telecom, but chose to take "voluntary redundancy" in 1991 when BT started shedding jobs all over the place
When we first started out (from a stall in a small local market), we didn't know much about glass, but very quickly became fascinated by its variety and beauty. We began visiting museums and reading books about it, and pretty soon took a stall for the first time at a London antiques fair
Since those early days we have made a fair bit of progress, buying and selling better and better pieces, and learning more and more about the subject (although we can't imagine ever knowing everything there is to know!)
We share our home with three cats of mixed dispositions, and, when we're not out selling or hunting for glass, enjoy a good pub meal
Based in Evesham in Worcestershire, we do not have a shop, but exhibit regularly at major Antiques & Collectors fairs all over the country - from as far west as Shepton Mallet in Somerset, to as far north as Newark in Nottinghamshire. For a list of fairs, at some of which we can be found, see under 'antiques & collectors fairs' in links & useful addresses
Now that you know all about us, we look forward to meeting you at one of the fairs, and are sure that you will soon become another of our many satisfied customers.
yours,
|
